Description:
Our client, a growing telecommunications firm is looking for a Senior Wireless Consultant / Architect to work out of their Boston, MA office preferably. You can also be located out of their Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, or Mountain View, CA office. The Senior Wireless Consultant / Architect will be a member of the Professional Services team providing value-added services to help customers use our client's solutions to improve wireless networks, deliver better handsets to the market, and improve their understanding of quality of service being delivered. As a Senior Wireless Consultant / Architect, you will be responsible for consulting with wireless operators and OEMs to solve business/technical problems with our client's solutions. In addition, you will analyze data from global mobile devices and provide value-added reports that help customers gain better insight to customer experience. You will also provide guidance and training to customers and/or less experienced engineers in the group. Our client offers competitive pay, bonus potential, and a great benefits package!

Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience working with wireless network protocols at the radio layer (NOT core network/switches level) including GSM / UMTS, CDMA, TCP/IP, IMS, 3GPP, etc. is required.
* Strong analytical skills with experience mining and manipulating data from various sources ( flat files, Relational Databases, XML ).
* Experience in the complete software development lifecycle ( SDLC ).
* Strong object oriented analysis and design skills ( OOA & OOD ).
* Experience with Java, XML / XQuery, Structured Query Language ( SQL ), and Linux / Unix are all pluses.
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Masters Degree is preferred.
* Must be flexible to travel as needed.
