Description:
Our client, a fast growing financial technology and algorithmic trading product firm is looking for mid-level C++ Developers to work out of their New York City office. The C++ Developers will have moderate interaction with clients and be working on projects within our client's R&D group. You must be interested in working on cutting-edge technologies and do well in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn multi-asset, multi-broker electronic trading systems development. Requirements:
* 1+ years of experience with C++ development. Experience with C# and/or Java development is a strong plus.
* Prior experience working with low-latency, high availability multi-threaded server-side applications that handle significant messaging volume.
* Knowledge of software development ( OOD ), best practices and software development life cycle ( SDLC ) is essential.
* Good knowledge of futures / options trading and strong communication skills are a must.
* Experience utilizing STL and Boost Libraries is a strong plus.
* Experience developing on a Windows operating system in Visual Studio utilizing a SQL Server Database is a plus.
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
