Description:
Our client, a successful, growing company in Janesville, WI is looking for a Front-End Web Developer for a long-term contract role with a strong probability for contract to hire. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the front-end portions of intranet, brand, corporate and B2B web applications, and working closely with Java Developers, Graphics Designers and Business Analysts on a daily basis. In addition, you will be scripting and supporting applications using JavaScript, AJAX, Flash and ActionScript 3; producing semantically appropriate, standards compliant markup, and producing rich user interfaces using Javascript, XML, JSON and CSS. Your time will be spent coding utilizing JavaScript, CSS, HTML and Flash, and you will be expected to openly participate in team meetings.

Requirements:
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge and experience with Javascript / AJAX / DOM, HTML and CSS.
* Understanding of the differences with Javascript, HTML, and CSS in the following browsers: Firefox 2+, Internet Explorer 6+, and WebKit.
* Experience with object-oriented Javascript coding practices and writing reusable libraries and widgets.
* Familiarity with at least one or more Javascript libraries (i.e. JQuery, YUI, Prototype, etc.).
* Experience with SVN, CVS, or other source control software.
Any experience with the following would be a big plus:
* Experience with Flash and ActionScript.
* Working knowledge of JSP's, open source tag libraries ( i.e. JSTL ) and use of custom tag libraries.
* Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
* Familiarity with building testable Javascript frameworks.
* Experience using an IDE (i.e. Eclipse, Visual Studio, etc.).
