Technical Project Manager - Trading Systems |

Description:
Our client, a leading trading firm based in Chicago, is growing and looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their technology team. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will be responsible for managing complex projects and programs from design and development to production.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with all team members to define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment, as well as identify resources and handle scheduling for project implementation. You will refine the project planning and prioritization process, create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning, and plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, dependencies and milestones.

Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of relevant project management or IT Management experience with demonstrated success, ideally in the trading industry.
* Excellent communication, relationship building, and influencing skills.
* Results oriented, highly flexible, team player.
* PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent.
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.
